Tommy talks to Metal Edge Magazine’s Gerri Miller in early 1987:
The following piece from Blast! Magazine is supposed to be an interview with Tommy but writer Arlett Vereecke gets a candid glimpse of a hung-over Crue arriving for tour rehearsals. Click on the images below to enlarge & read this classic interview.
Tommy was afraid his then wife Heather Locklear would get hurt by Motley’s rabid fans & told reporters ‘it can get crazy on the road at times’ & hoped she would stay home & skip the tour. He apparently said this with a straight face.
Hit Parader’s Jodi Summers caught up with Tommy on the ‘Girls’ tour & sent in this glowing article, calling the Girls, Girls, Girls album ‘the ultimate example of heavy metal in the late ‘80s.’ Never mind that it’s probably not a Heavy Metal record, we get her point.
