Sleaze Vinyl: A Decade of Motley LPs

001

As I mentioned in an earlier post, most of my 1980s Motley listening was done on cassettes: they were easy to use & transport & the compactness made them a tougher medium as well (to check out vintage Motley cassette art click HERE). My first experience hearing Motley was a friend’s copy of the Shout At the Devil record & I’ll never forget staring at that great big gatefold with all four members looking as tough & weird & otherworldly as they ever would. It goes without saying that the LP is the superior way to experience classic rock music with its analog, warm, sound & the almost lavish artwork. Luckily I was able to get all 5 original Motley records on vinyl, several copies of most in fact, & here they are in all their 1980s glory!
